Week 2: Two Point Perspective

6 Two Point Perspectives
Deconstruction
Light's access and the bridge welcome a hybrid between the interior and exterior spaces presented by the beam connecting the last two blocks.
Overwatch
A practical shading method which at the same time emphasises the openness and spaciousness that an area can provide, the space above the flat platform can be used and accessed from within the building.

Sketchup model "Deconstruction" with the added element of another 'bridge' through the building. Also added a pipe-like structure along the top of the entire building, this can be used to transfer water and provide SOME cooling. It can also be turned into an exterior are for teaching. I deleted the upright structure on the far left side of the sketch.

Introduction to Experiment Three

Introduction to Experiment Three

The Theory:
An area and structure where the boundary between the exterior and interior functions become blurred. The light which penetrates through these spaces overthrow any previous perception of space and depth, entrapping an individual in what seems like an endless tunnel. However warped perspective may become, an individual can still find comfort in these areas as the open spaces bounded by the walls leave openings for the sky to be viewed.
